New Collaboration with CEMUE

Founded by the European Comission and the Mexican Ministry of Economy, the Centro Empresarial México-Unión Europea (CEMUE) prepares market studies focused on potential markets for export products from Mexico. Their website (http://www.cemue.com.mx) is an excellent platform for numerous published trade information for small and medium-sized enterprises, including one on how to access the EU market, authored by the ITESM, Bancomext and CEMUE.
ITC is pleased that Product MAP has proven to be an invaluable source of product and market data for CEMUE, who maximizes on ITC's Product MAP market research tool to prepare studies for their export-oriented enterprises. In doing so, CEMUE increases competitiveness, and identifies opportunities for Mexico’s export products, thus facilitating SME endeavors for Going Global.

Oman: Workshops on Product Map

Mr. Jose Da Luz, Product Map Manager conducted workshops on several sectors from 9 to 13 September, 2006 in Salah, Sohar and Muscat.
These workshops were conducted to educate Omani exporters on the use of Product Map and also highlighted the use of Product Map in solving Market positioning and Networking issues, alongwith Market intelligence.
